About us

In 2001, we emigrated to Australia. It was a momentous shift, marking a new chapter where we could prioritize our passions and pursue a fulfilling lifestyle. For me, this meant establishing a Friesian horse breeding stud, while my husband pursued his love for Moto Guzzi motorcycles by starting a hobby workshop and focusing on building a cathedral to exhibit his MG collection. We successfully achieved both endeavours, and by 2013, it was time for a new direction. My daughter Anouk and I shifted our focus within our stud, transitioning to breeding Barock Pinto Friesians, also known as black and white Friesians.

As our stud continued to flourish over the years, significant changes occurred in 2018 with the inception of the Wildcroft Equine Education Centre. This centre, led by esteemed horsemen, serves as a beacon of education for riders and horses alike, bringing joy to equine enthusiasts and propelling us forward in our journey. Grateful for our achievements, we remain dedicated to upholding the highest standards.

Next to our daily occupation, we like to share our farm because of the serene setting it is an ideal destination for horse riders, campers, hikers, and wildlife enthusiasts alike, only bookings taking via hipcamp for camping. Wildcroft Estate is also available for group sessions like Yoga, Art, Photography workshops, we can offer you a tailor-made program. Email grace@wildcroftestate.com for more information

In many ways, the horse's physical presence creates a sense of awe and wonder that draws people in and creates a deep emotional connection.

The Wildcroft Equine Education Centre is a place where people can connect with horses in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
Our focus is on providing a range of experiences that allow people to connect with horses in meaningful ways, and our goal is to help everyone who visits us to experience the transformative power of the horse-human connection.

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, Anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending

  • We offer: Hippotherapy is a form of physical, occupational and speech therapy, co-facilitated by a licensed physical, occupational or speech therapist, as well as a certified equine specialist. It is designed to help patients with neuromuscular disorders improve balance, coordination and body control.

Integrative Equine Therapy is an alternative anxiety therapy that harnesses the unique ability of horses to observe and read the emotions of clients allowing individuals to replace ingrained negative reactions with positive responses.

Horses are highly attuned to human emotions and can mirror them to their handlers. This unique aspect of equine therapy offers individuals a mirror through which they can observe their emotional state. For those dealing with PTSD, recognizing and regulating emotions is a critical step toward recovery.

There will be a Mental Health Specialist and an Equine Specialist with you and the horses during your sessions. You will have activities to do with the horses. You will have time to talk about what happened after each activity. Your “story” will unfold during the sessions.
